Our second welding robot system

We have put our second robotic welding system into operation, continuing the expansion of our automated production. With the C-frame system, we are once again expanding our production capacities and at the same time increasing process reliability and the reproducibility of weld seams. The welding device makes it possible to position the components in almost any position to achieve the optimum trough position.

Switch to Fronius welding systems

In order to sustainably optimise our welding quality, we have switched almost completely to welding technology from the manufacturer Fronius International. We now have a total of 13 devices of the type TransSteel 5000 for use. Thanks to the standardised equipment with modern inverter welding technology, we benefit from more stable welding processes, greater repeat accuracy and improved adjustment options for different materials and applications.

Commissioning of the first welding robot system 

An important milestone for our production: we start automated welding production with the commissioning of our first welding robot system.

The E-Frame system is designed as a 2-station system and enables almost continuous welding in alternating operation. While the welding process is running on one station, the second station can be prepared in parallel. This ensures a continuous and efficient production process. With this first system, we are laying the foundations for greater efficiency and consistently high quality.

New ABUS crane systems

In order to make our intralogistics and loading even more efficient, we have invested in a modern crane system from ABUS. Two 10-tonne cranes, a 5-tonne crane and a 3.2-tonne crane help us to move heavy drums and reels even more safely and precisely.

Thanks to intelligent functions such as pendulum damping, vibrations are automatically equalised during travel. This not only increases safety and working comfort, but also improves the precise positioning of loads. In addition, the synchronisation control ensures that several hoists work synchronously. This makes it easier to lift large coils. The speed and acceleration can also be adapted precisely to the respective requirements via individually adjustable travel and lifting profiles.

This investment will not only improve our internal processes, but also the working comfort of our employees.

New painting and drying booth

We invest in high-quality products and machines so that we can achieve the best results when painting your high-quality bobbins and drums. Our new painting and drying booth guarantees excellent painting results. Thanks to the integrated vertical, horizontal, diagonal and double diagonal air flow, we are able to paint several bobbins and drums in a short space of time, thus reducing production times and avoiding long waiting times.

The systems are also equipped with an intermittent recirculation system (IRS) and an automatic energy-saving mode as standard. This means that if the spray gun is not being used, the system automatically switches to recirculation mode after approx. 3 minutes. As soon as the spray gun is used again, the system switches directly back to spray mode. This saves up to 40 % of energy and supports us in our mission to combat climate change and fulfil our role model function.
